Went to get an MRI on my neck. Been getting neck / shoulder pain and numbness down my left arm. I've had one before but this was a different machine. It's "open" at both ends, but if you stuck your head in a 5 gallon bucket you'd have about the same amount of room :) 20 minutes is a long time to spend in there :) but it really wasn't that bad. We'll see what's going on come Wednesday when the results come in.

Fortunately, I can still dig dirt but like I was telling Steve, I have to lay off the beach for a while (which is killing me because of the weather lately :)) Diggin' deep in wet sand kinda puts a lot of strain on your arm and shoulder. No pain when I'm digging but it can't be good :)

to dig tot lots = I uncover about 80 % of my finds with a swish of my foot. Maybe try it while you are healing. Steve in os az

My right shoulder has been bugging me for over a year now. I know that surgery is in my future! :(

Actually, I've been "dealing" with this for years but always worked through it. When my left arm starting going numb, I figured maybe I should see a doctor and stop working the beach for a while :)
 
Not that I've been able to get out that often, but I've been digging dirt and tot lots to satisy my craving :) My tot lots just don't have the type of "depositors" yours do :lol: Actually, I'm planning on hitting a big one the day after Labor Day. That's the first day I can (legally) hunt this particular State park.
 
Thanks! I don't think it is... it's come and gone for quite some time now. Just something I have to deal with. I'm sure as not going to complain... wouldn't want Brian to see my post :) I'll take it like a man (or should I say "Brian") :)
 
...My wife's cousin went into surgery today to have 4 discs replaced in her neck-ALL AT ONE TIME!!!:stretcher::surrender::(I pray she is ok....
 
Hey Joe, Hope everything cks. out fine. As for the beach, just go with your detector & orange spray paint, when you hit a target mark a BIG :heh:"X":lol: & I'll be back when your gone.:heh::heh::lol:
