Had my ATX in the water several times, a question...

I stand it up upside down as to faciltate letting what moisture might be trapped in the shaft after I drain it. Should I try and get it completely dry or just don't worry about it. Looks like I could build up some mold or something if it doesn't get completely dry? Just wondering....

Garrett has a video he rinses in lake, ocean, or faucet.
Dry in sun or wipe dry all shafts and don't tighten.
Sorry no link just check in youtube Garett ATX

I always drain the water from the ATX. Water is not good in the long run on any equipment. I also clean the shaft and camlocks well after each hunt and leave the rods completely extended.
