Was one of the best ones yet! The weather was awesome and the turn out was great, nothing bad about the whole weekend!
After we got to the camp ground we gatherd up all that wanted to go and went to a grass field where two old farm houses sat years ago.
Not long into the hunt our vice president hollered WOOO HOOOO!!!! He had got his first Indian head penny ever! about ten minutes later he got #2 right near that one! Before he left that 10 ft circle he had #3 and his first Civil War token! The dates were 1900, 1900, 1861, and the token was 1863.
Here I am giving him a big congrats and a pic of his coins!

I got two Indians at the field also 1892, and 1887 and a nice crotal bell not in pic. Then we had a short seeded hunt back at the campground. There were 24 people looking for 3 tokens, but we also had old foriegn coins and Buffs and V's planted. Here is my take. Buff 1937, V 1904, foriegn coins 1952, 1923, 1918, 1918. and my two Indians from the fellowship hunt.

Then we sat around the campfire till midnight. We were up early as this was the main day. Breakfast, then a church service that was done by Al Holden from the metal detector dealership that donates to the Christian forum hunts. He had to take it easy as he is still healing from his cancer treatments. Please continue to pray for him. Great sermon Al. 28 in attendance. Here is Al and an interpreter for our hearing impaired guys. Then we had a kids hunt. 12 kids. Here is my daughter Shelby helping the youngest participant. man was he the star of the show by how excited he was on every coin he found!

You have a nice family and you are raising them up correctly in the Lord's sight, too! Congrats!

Great Club! Wonderful Friends! Good Finds!
Thanks for sharing the club's hunt, pictures, and finds. Who knows ~ maybe one of these days I'll get all the way down to Plainwell for some of the fun? Yesterday I felt considerably better and today I think I'll go hunting for an hour or so to build my arm back up so I can swing that thing this summer. You've club's a nice bunch and I look forward to meeting them all someday. Do have a great weekend coming and God bless...
