well i woke up this morning wishing i could have another weekend like this

most of the time i do.
il hear the alarm and just role over and hold her and say to heck with going detecting
 
actualy that pic was from when i used fishers. but i have gone over that place with my etrac and pulled more silver and wheats that the fishers missed

The ground up here in Nebraska is still hard as brick. I suppose much like your ground when it gets real dry. I remember those dry times in Tx. The ground would crack open an inch or two. That sure doesn't do that where I live now. I have mostly silt/loamy sand and absolutely no rocks except for the gravel roads and parking lots. I'll wait.....

I wonder what the Selmer tag is off from? I found one just like yours when I first started detecting. I thought it was from a cross country medal of a kid named Selmer who was a good runner in my area.
