HAD TO SEND ET IN FOR REPAIR....AGAIN!

Yesterday I UPS'ed my ET to Minelab

It would not turn on

Previously the head phones would lose sound and I realized through trial and error
that i needed to Velcro it down and make it unmovable to continue having sound through the headphone

The Husband gave me his to use knowing I would go through withdrawal
He is using the backup (DFX)

He has found more clad today than I but I have found the nickels
Also, I tend to dig more stuff because I found the three gold ring over the last month
Which makes me investigate certain sound and numbers that he will not dig

I'll let you all know when it returns and if my programs are intact

Funny, when I started learning about computers, I did not know the value of a back up of my files
Yes, it happened, three years loss of files
After that I have a system and attachment that backs up the files in case of disaster

Lesson Learned.... Again!

That is what is nice about having a back-up detector. I have a CZ-3D to use as a back-up and to rehunt sites. It's always fun the way different detectors work at the same sites. Some sites I find more with the E-trac and some I find more with the CZ-3D.
