I had windows 7 office and it would always say "not responding" whenever I connected the detector to the computer... I updated to Windows 10 and it uploaded in a couple of minutes with no problems.

All you had to do in Windows 7 was run the MUU application in windows XP compatibility mode (works great)! Took Windows 7 users a while to figure that out as there was no mention by Minelab of this idiosyncrasy.

I had the same problem but i have both windows 7 and 10 .

I have an ancient desktop computer with Windows 7. I used all suggestions here on the forum to get the update to work to no avail. My husband charged up his laptop with Windows 10 and the update was complete in no time. He said my computer most likely didn’t have enough memory.

Call me a dummy but how do you do that?
