How about a nice collection of nuggets found by Chris Hake as a test post for "Chuck the Scoop's" free picture hosting service. Details on Beach and Water Hunting Forum.
Chris found these nuggets in Western Australia on a patch that he was both detecting and scraping with a CAT966 recently.
Now that we can do pictures easily, let's use them to illustrate and make the technical talk more interesting.
Eric.

Good one Eric, and thanks muchly to Chuck for the new image hosting service which looks so easy that even a mug like me could manage it. These nuggets came from my bulldozed magnetic red clay patch and every one of them had been detected over by someone previously. All were around 8" - 12" deep so missing the small ones is understandable but there are about 7 nuggets over 10 grams, including the 2 oz at the top, which should have been detectable from the surface. The coil is a Minelab 11" mono. Merry Xmas and a productive 2002 to everyone. Cheers, Chris Hake.

Chris,
That's a heck of a nice bunch of gold.
Keep up the good work......Merry Xmas...
