At our church service last night, we thought about the power of God. How in the beginning there was God and how powerful He was to create everything and here His Son, Jesus, humbles Himself to where He comes into this world as a helpless baby. His heart (His spirit) within that baby was pure and He remained pure and untainted by this world even til His last breath. What an amazing love the Father had for us and still does. How wonderful it is that God had a plan to redeem us and put us in rightstanding with Him. It took a sacrifice. The sacrifice of His own and only Son to be the lamb of sacrifice to be slain for our sins. Even knowing 'the plan' and that the plan would come to competion. As a Dad myself how it had to have troubled God to see His own Son on that cross but knew there was no other way. Just as now there is no other way but through Jesus can we be saved and be set free of our filth in the eyes of God and set free of our bondage to sin.

The plan worked. It is finished! But wait, not only did Jesus die and pay the debt for the sins I and others did but He rose from the dead. All power is His. He defeated even death itself and has the keys (the power) over everything. He sits at our Father's right hand because He rose again. He gave us a commission to go tell others that they too can be free and set back in rightstanding with God. Jesus has even given us His Name to use and the power is His Name is the same as if He Himself were standing where we are when His Name is used.

What a wonderful Love God has for us. He loved and loves us so much He gave His own Son to die for us.

Jesus is alive. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Father God. Thank you too Holy Spirit for being a Comforter to me and showing me all God wants me to see. Thank you!

Merry Christmas my Brothers and Sisters in Christ. And Merry Christmas as well to those who read this who have yet to receive salvation through Jesus. Ask and you will receive. Confess with your mouth you have sinned and have done wrong in God's sight. Ask God to forgive you in Jesus name. Ask Jesus to come into your heart, to set you free and to be your Saviour and your Lord. He is there = waiting - with open arms.
