You can find us at the school yards and in the parks. In a field or empty lot. From the beach to the woods. we are sure to find a spot. Anywhere and everywhere we search, for there are treasures to unearth. From wheat backs to silver dimes, bronze buckles and gold earrings that shine. With our trusty detectors by our side nothing of metal can hide.

Corny I know, but feel free to add to it might be fun.

I am sure Ma Betty could add to it! :) She has a God given talent as a poet!

No matter how long it has been hiding there, whether it be clad or something rare, the thrill of bringing precious treasures to light, sure makes us grin with joyous delight, but the most beautiful is God's skies of blue and all the creations He's created for me and you, that gives more wonder to behold, when the setting sun turns the dusk to gold., so give Him praise in everything He does, as our God is and He always was! Amen Blessed be His holy name, Jesus!

God Bless!

Thank you, Dobbie! Yes, our Lord has given me the talent or gift to write poetry for Him! Been writing them mostly since Jan 1, 1987 and have way over 3,000 at last count! Still have most of them to type as yet and doubt if I live long enough to do what's needing done!

Glad you write poetry too.....Please post some once in awhile! :)

God Bless!

betty i will post a few if you do. i dont have nearly as much as you, i had a house fire a couple of years back and they went with the fire. mine are christian poetry as well. heres a short one for ya.

Spiritual Dancer.

She dances to the music only her soul shall hear. With each step she takes the sight of Him becomes more clear. Surrounded by angels, He shines down His light. Feeling the warmth of His love, she is careful not to lose to sight. Of the one who composes her favorite song, the one she dances with all night long.

I like your poem....It is very good and short! Mine are way too long most of the time! I will type some when I can take the time to do so! Remember, mine are looonnngg!

Seems as if the Lord wants me to tell about His birth, death and resurrection in each one! I have written poems personally for some of our CMD Forum members! Doug put one on a picture he took in the Smokey Mountains and we gave it out at Christmas time to whoever wanted a copy and in Christmas Letters!

Since, I took all my pics down from the Family Room and only God knows where I've put them! My house is a mess.....with rooms full of boxes and misplaced furniture right now!

I also have a new Computer and printer, copier and scanner and haven't tried to use it for scanning pics as yet! Sooooo give Ma Betty time (lots) and I will be posting some for you and all to read!

Keep on writing for our Lord and sorry to hear about the fire that burned a lot of your poetry! With the mess of stuff I have here, a fire would sure do a lot of damage and that's for sure!

Still working in Family Room when I am able to do so, did get washing and vacuuming done today! I hope to mop kitchen and bathrooms tomorrow but will depend on how I feel! I get really dizzy when getting in or out of bed! Once my headboard looked like it was spinning like a Merry-Go-Round....made me sick to my stomach! I usually feel better in the afternoons and get some work done, but Cliff likes to do his work in the mornings because he is an early riser but not me...I sleep the best in the mornings!

Well, I will say thanks again for your poem and it is very good!

God Bless!
