Same to you. Hope you have a wonderful and blessed holiday season!

still hard to believe my Dad passed away 3 years ago on Thanksgiving...and I am thankful to God He did not let me die in the same month and year as my Dad....how devastating that would have been to my family.

Our plans for this Thanksgiving is to have a small meal....we are going to have Cornish Hens for each of us...Sherry, her Mom and I. Casey and Leelan will be away from home at a Thanksgiving dinner elsewhere.

We could have had a turkey but thought "why?" This will be the start of another "tradition" like the one we started last year for Christmas....grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. They go so well together and something easy for Sherry's Mom to eat as well.

Hope all have a Blessed day of Thanks-giving.

I wish each of you, my new Christian internet friends, a Happy and peaceful Thanksgiving. We're in the middle of a move so Rose & I will have a simple meal and thank God for our health, comfort, and His saving grace.

Hey, Bro Pete, grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup sound good to me and I just might have that instead of a Turkey TV Dinner, if I have the soup that is?? :) I am still not feeling well enough to go out and prefer staying home and enjoying my Lord's goodness and Thanking Him for everything, whether good or bad! Like you and Sherry many of us are low on finances, but the Lord meets our needs and not our greeds, although He blesses us with something we really want and don't necessarily need sometimes....just like we do our own children and grandchildren!  God Bless! Sister Betty

Hope you have a great day Betty.

Thank you, Bro Pete and I do have a can of tomato soup! So a Grilled Cheese Sandwiche and hot soup just might be my Thanksgiving meal along with you and Sherry! Enjoy the food and have a blessed day! God Bless! Betty
