Want to wish all of my forum friends a very blessed Thanksgiving. No matter what we are going thru, we all have much to be thankful for. Can't wait to gather around the table with my family tomorrow and feast on good food and each others company. I wish the same for all of you

Let's take this a step farther and post a few things we are thankful for....and give GOD the praise for it all!

1) I am thankful for my family and for my sweet granny who is home where she belongs. GOD is blessing us thru her...she is in pain and unable to go home, but her has provided awesome hospice nurses and granny is surrounded by the people who love her most!
2) I am thankful for my husband who loves me no matter what. He accepts me for who I am and puts our family first!
3) Thankful for our warm home that is keeping me dry while the rain beats against the windows.
4) Thankful for the precious sound of our baby chicks in the brooder.....we successfully incubated a couple of eggs this week and its been awesome.
5) Thankful for FINALLY getting and feeling the wonder of GOD's peace and the unfolding of his plans....it is awesome to watch. The last year has been a horrible one, but in the last week, I understand what GOD had in the works. Can't praise him enough!

and finally, thankful for my little girl and the love that she freely gives even when I don't deserve it.

Happy Thanksgiving Day, Liz and to all of you! So happy that your granny is still living and able to be with ya'll but I pray for less pain and for her and your peace in Jesus' comforting love will be upon each of you! I was posting many things I was thankful for, but having a bad headache, today, because of the wet weather, I goofed and lost my posting before posting message....oh, the problems of older age with confusion and forgetfulness! :sad: I am most thankful for God's patience and forgiveness for His saving me unto everlasting life for my goodness and for His purpose! He is the One Who gives me strength in His joy to continue on in mortal life until I am with Him forever more!

Have a great day and don't eat too much of the delicious food God is providing for ya'll....Wish I could say, I would be eating a big dinner, but since I don't really feel like eating much and only have chicken to fix with dressing...that will be mine with a couple of veggies and Cranberry Sauce...which has always made my Thanksgiving meal, for I sure like Cranberry Sauce and dressing (stuffing)...also cannied sweet potatoes...but not sure I will fix them this time, as I've plenty to eat without them! No pumpkin pie nor any other as I haven't been out shopping for over two months and trying to get rid of what I have in freezer and in the pantry before buying any more!
