Has anyone actually ever tried using the small F75 coil on the T2? Will it damage the T2 , not work, or just not ID/ respond correctly?( I sound prett

the T2 coils have an extra wire the F75/70 doesnt. The coils on both machines arent interchangeable.
Aside from the size.....the little concentric doesnt have the separation the big old DD does anyway Adam. IF your in the market for a little coil for the T2..........................Stay tuned!!

I finally got rid of my T2, not because it wasn't a good machine but because after 2yrs, there was still no smaller coil for it. First Texas/Technetics cured me from ever buying another machine that doesn't have accessory coils available. I don't care how good the stock coil was there are still sites I needed a smaller coil. The machine I had no complaints with. If Technetics had produced a 6 or 7in DD coil I would still have mine. I emailed and called Technetics and all I ever got was promises. I've got an F70 now and it is a nice little detector and has both a larger and smaller coil available. When I need outstanding separation, I use my old faithful MXT and 4x6 shooter coil.

My biggest issue with the large coil is the "overload" you get in those old cellar holes because of the tremendous amounts of iron. With a smaller coil you can work in between alot of that iron with the sensitivity cranked up sniffing out those goodies! (you know what I'm talking about cellar hole guru :smoke:). ......What is this "Stay Tuned!!!" Sounds like you have something up your sleeve. You have my attention!
