Has anyone done an Excal Mod using Ikelite connector to be able to switch out the 8 & 10 in coils...... Thanks.....

If you look in the Excalibur Accessories sticky in the Sovereign forum, as well as the coil sticky, you'll find thread links on that very subject.
 
Go to the Sovereign/Excalibur forum. Look at the top 5 or 6 threads that are always stuck at the top of the thread listings. They are always stuck there because they are Stickys meant to stay at the top of the forum thread listings. In the Excalibur Accessories sticky if you scroll the posts on both pages of it you'll find threads noted for that very topic of using the ikelite connector for headphones, and if you look in the Coil sticky (towards the last several pages of it I think) you'll find thread links noted for various plug adaptor mods for switching coils, including using the ikelite connector.
