so far have dug up several birds,,one was buried very deep in a silver type cookie box,,my heart was thumping thinking what was in this deep buried box..when I opened it a little nervously,,a very dead parrot was staring at me..I read the note inside and re buried some ones beloved pet...it was in the middle of a old park..

but it gets even more weird,,hitting a target near a old growth lumber stump,I start digging and see a top of a mason jar, again my heart is thumping. You know could be gold and silver coins ,well I lift up the intact jar out of the ground,,inside was another dead lizard staring at me,back into the ground it goes.I know have dug more little critters but can't recall them... hh oj

I have not found any pets that I know of. I have found metal tins, or rather their remains. With nothing in them.
I found a mason jar last season in a park, once the sight of a house. Near a tree stump, I uncovered the jar and as you might expect, I prepped for the victory dance. I carefully dug around the jar and extracted the container. Inside I found..... A metal army tank.

Some kid had buried his favorite toy, many years ago. It was one that would have been seen in early WWII, a faithful rendition of the M3 Lee tank, predecessor to the famous M4 Sherman.

Hi it was just a small note..saying how much they loved "Alfredo"..

ps After 5 minnits of digging it out,I knew was not likely treasure, the box was so very light, the bird had very beutifull feathers,I put it back and covered it up with a few more rocks...I never like finding pets but my curiosity gets the best of me.... hh
