Has anyone had a chance to try a 12.5, 14, or 18 inch Excellerator coil with their Explorer?

didn't like it as much as the stock coil. I didn't find it any deeper.

Hi Christopher I tried and still have the 14" I did find things with it but I didn't do any comparision testing to see if there was any difference I don't care a whole lot for it though it just doesn't seem to reach out much more than the stock coil for me. I now have the WOT coil from Doc and I like how it sounds with the Explorer I'm just now starting to use it and try different things with it. I have found some deep silver dimes with it using it in a field and I have also found some small pieces of junk with it in the field very deep so I think the WOT will be a good choice for me to stick with for the Explorer plus it seems pretty light for a big coil. Just my opinion. Good luck with what you get. HH Ken

I also tried a couple other bigger coils and the WOT is the only one that showed me it possibly had something more to offer than the stock.

Stock 10 works just fine for me, but whatever works and sure a lot of Acc. coils avalable..Have been getting great feedback on the WOT and just like the design of this new Platypus, but too new for any feedback.

I Have Used The 14"Excelerator Coil.The Coil Does A Good Job On Finding Deep Coins.
