has anyone had issues with their outlaw in the cold.

Ok first off this may help. You all understand that Nimh 9v batteries are about 8.4vdc. So at the start you are below 9vdc. I would try alkaline batteries which is what Tesoro makes the specs for the machine to run on. That's where I would start. Alkaline batteries work best according to Tesoro. Who knows the outlaw may require a bit more power then others. Maybe it goes nuts around 7.2vdc.? I would guess Tesoro would know. Good luck.

Mike

I run true 9v rechargables. When fully charged they are 11v. Seems to run just fine until 5-10 mins before they just crap out, I can tell when they are almost done, but not before giving me a little grief out in the field.

The batteries I run are 9.6v powerex they have always had more juice and last quite a bit longer than normal batteries. Im really thinking coil issue. No water in cover and tight conections.
