Has anyone here heard from VT Dave????

We at Royal's short story forum are worried b/c we have heard nothing after he posted and stated he had a 'light stroke' and asked for our prayers.

If anyone has any type of update, we sure would appreciate a post on Royal's forum.

Thanks so much and blessings to you all. <><

Matt 27:22 The pivotal question every man must answer. His answer will determine his eternity.

He hasn't posted since the last one a month ago... let us know if you hear anything. I'm in shock because I must have flat out missed that post for some reason :(

I was wondering the same! I will try to contact him!

Hadn't heard anything either. Think we need to do a Roll Call more often of people who we haven't heard from. Hoping he is doing OK now but glad you reminded us so we can try to check on him. Other than here I have no way of reaching him either.

Welcome to the forum aj...don't be shy...post anytime. If anyone can get in touch with Dave I am guessing Mike from MI will be the man....he is pretty good at getting in touch with people.

Praying Dave is OK and that it is something simple keeping him from posting and will be back soon.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'll have to get over here a little more often.

I have been metal detecting since the early 70's but you know what? I learned that the True Treasure is not to be found in the sand. It's not even in the people I meet along the way, even though that is more important than the goodies I find. No, it is about being found and being transformed and being made brand new and in telling everyone who will listen about my soon-coming King!

Sometime soon, I'm going to tell you about how things changed on the 19th of December 1998--after 50 years of being on this earth, growing up in church, walking the aisle, praying a prayer and gettin' dunked. I did all that as a teen but I was not changed. I had not done what the Bible says it takes to go to heaven.

I have seen God take the testimony of this transformed (and ever-transforming) man and open the hearts of (even) "religious" folks so that they see the True Treasure for the first time. That's what happened to me. I'll collect my thoughts in the quiet of the evening and post soon. <><

Blessings to all,

aj

I sent him an email and will send a car in a day or two if I don't hear back!

God bless!

Mike
