Has anyone made their own beach scoop for competition beach hunts?

I am too slow at competition beach hunts. I need an edge so I am asking if anyone has created their own beach scoop?
Maybe your ideas can assist me in digging less sand and keeping more targets in the scoop to save time.

Scoop, dump and keep going

Sven, been there and done that as they say. Today's beach hunts might now allow baskets with holes in them.

I am hoping for an innovative sand scoop.

Thanks

Tony

No, marine grade aluminum pipe bent to a specific angle and welded to clamps.

Unanodized aluminum pipe was painted white just for appearance.
