Has anyone tested the Eurotek pro on small jewelry?

Neil

Well-known member
Has anyone tried it out on earring backs, chains, small pendants, that type of stuff?

I know about the high freq/gold machine thing but there are a few machines I tried in the same freq range and even lower than the eurotek that would sound off on these smaller items....granted not far but they did hit them.

Hello Neil,

The EuroTek does a decent job on small jewelry, Not as crisp as a higher kHz model but it will hit on the tiniest of finds just not as sharp. My EuroTek has the elliptical coil haven't tried the 8" yet.

Overall the Euro is a nice machine, You'll be pleased with it and the price range is fantastic!

Below is a quick pic of gold jewelry the Euro will detect with ease, including the 14K earing stud.

Good luck,
Paul (Ca)

Thank you Paul, thats what I was hoping to hear. I sure like the simplicity of the machine, seems to just have the essentials. The big numbers are great also.
