Has anyone used the Sunray X-12?

Can anyone give me feedback on the X-12? It seems to be a great coil and may be my next coil after I get the X-8 (I'm planning of getting a coil & accessory collection on the Exp.2 along with tools to be prepared for ANY occassion), thanks.

it arrives i can give u a report on how it works in the damp sand and shallow surf. i do not work any dirk so i will not be able to help u on that side.

i have 8"X on now and it is nice, i have tried the WOT

It's usually hanging on my Detector because it is a tad lighter than the standard Coil. Thats unless I am using the X-8 or WOT for those special conditions.

I have been using the X-12 as my everyday coil on my explorer XS
It feels much lighter than the stock because of the better balance.
It gives great depth and pinpoints very well.
It gives great coverage on the beach and is very stable in wet sand if you back the sensitivity down a little. Even at lowered sensitivity it will detect a quarter at 18" on the beach and a crushed coke can at 3'.
I consider it the best aftermarket investment after the X-1 probe.

i like the x-12 its replaced my wot cause its so much lighter. covers alot of area. great for open areas and the beach. easy pinpoint. whenever i go to the beach thats the only coil i use.
no need to have the wot coil.
ive found all the sunray coils to be good coils. 5 and 8 i use it the woods to feally get around stuff.
