Has Garrett improved the AT PRO headphone cord.

I noticed that some online pics show that the land based headphones have a longer single strand cord before the coiled cord section. Anyone know when this was implemented.

Amen...I wish the cords were longer myself. I got out for about 10-15 minutes yesterday and constantly had to remove the headphones to lay my AT/PRO down on the ground. Never happened with the GTI-2500. I wonder if the adapter they sale is any longer?

the adapter looks like it will add another inch and a half of length or so.
Sure wish the stock cord was longer though.

I got an AT Gold last May. It was the latest version at that time. The headphones cord has a straight section about 18 inches long. I just looked at a photo of the ATP headphones with about two inches of straight cord.

Maybe they will change the design. It's frustrating right now.
