Hat badge

Hello all, Had a nice find on Sunday afternoon, my first Rising Sun hat badge. Before and after pics attached, it is a pity the lower scroll was bent as much as it is. Both loops on the back are intact though.This particular design is version 3, in use from 1904 to 1948 and the badge I found is the variety that has the 7 shorter major blades (or rays).

Opps my mistake, it is a collar badge, not a hat badge.
