Hello guys,

To change the pattern of the discussions/picturs around here, I present you some of my IRON finds from locations where ww1 and ww2 battles have taken place.
I have lots of pieces to clean and preserve, I will update the thread regularly.

Best regards !

1st it”s my last find, a cigarette from Oarba de Mures battlefield.
2nd it”s an german MP40 magazine
3rd a ” dentist”s ” tool, used in close combat in ww1 and ww2
4th french F2 defensive grenade
5th romanian soldier belt buckle
6th 75mm artillery shrapnel shell

Those are great finds! Quite some history there...

I love digging iron axe heads , monkey wrenches and hammers here in New England. I would suspect a farmer was pretty upset loosing any tool back in the day.

Those are nice finds. The only thing I have ever dug ww is buttons.

Very good finds. I like the "dentist" tool.
