Sat it was a little too cold and windy for MDing farm fields so I went and checked some homes that were demoed a few years ago after the flood of 2008. It didn't take me long to figure out that they have been hit pretty hard already but I kept going. I was there for several hours and found a Barber dime, a V nickel, a token and 3 wheat's.

Tue after work I went an checked out a sidewalk tear out and I timed it just right. I had 1 and 1/2 blocks to work. I didn't find alot but what I did find sure made my night. I found a 1887s Seated dime, 1901 Barber dime, a 1887 HI " which is not in the pic " and 2 wheat's. The way it looks to me they are going to be doing another 3 to 4 blocks, it's all marked out with flags. I'll be checking every night after work until it's done.

Good stuff Mark. Any chance that 01 dime has an S on the back?
Good luck on those next 3 - 4 blocks. HH Randy

Believe me I've looked real hard for that S but it's just not there..... Let me check one more time just in case I missed it... nope it's not there, lol

I've been fortunate to have found one 1901 S. I knew it was a nice dime when I dug it up. But honestly, I didn't bother to check for a mint mark for several days.

There should still be plenty for both of us. HH Randy
