I think the problem is there is really no programs that are better than another... either you run in coin only mode(which simply from the changes they made picks up almost all non ferrous items, unless in high iron) or a more open screen... I am trying to get a pattern down that allows most good stuff in iron to sound good and keep the iron falsing to a minimum.. dont want to upload till I am happy with it.. this one is for places that have lots of iron, not the few spots in parks that have a small spot here and there that makes it not worth the time of even switching modes.. I still think the improvements they made in the pattern building would have been more suited for an explorer.. since they took so much info away with the etrac as far as ferrousity,
It seems to me they may as well make a cheaper machine that is preset in coin mode, make it smaller and lighter with only a conductive readout since the ferrousity seems only to come into play in high iron, and make the technology available for those that can not afford 1500 bucks, and for those that will only run the coin pattern anyway
