thinking and praying for each and every one of you! For senior seeker, Brian, all who have needs today whether they've been posted or not! Praise GOD that he knows our every need. Hopefully, things will settle down soon and I can get back to posting.
My granny passed away yesterday morning and it was a relief. She suffered quite a bit the last day and even with Hospice care, it was hard to keep her comfortable. Visitation will be tonight and the funeral will be tomorrow afternoon. The weather is unusually cold and bad, just crappy. Loren is still a sick pup...and I don't know whats going on with her. Starting to show slight improvement, but a long way to go. She had been having constant nightmares for the last two nights and no one is getting any rest. She understands what is going on with Granny (Loren was her favorite) and seems to handle things well during the day, but her emotions seem to be manifesting after she goes to sleep. I thank you all for all the prayers-need them very much right now.

Sorry to hear about granny. I am glad you all had some good days with her recently. Praying for peace and comfort for the family, and healing for Loren.

God bless.

Mike

Hello Liz,
Just last night, I called out to God, in the middle of the night, asking Him to take the dreams away so I could get the rest I needed to heal. The next thing I knew, it was light out and God answered my prayer and call for help. Sometimes I wish my mind had a On/Off switch that I could toggle, when I go to bed, so I could sleep soundly. It isn't that my dreams are frightening (most of the time) but so weird and not related to anything, in my life. I'm convinced we must stay connected to the Lord 24/7 if we're to have any piece of mind. God knows we won't get any from this world. For those of you with loving mates, you are sooooooo blessed! Being single may have a few advantages, in relation to freedom of movement, but, other than that, being single is the Pitts! Among all the difficulties senior citizens experience, loneliness is in the top ten. Jesus stated that the evil one was roaming about seeking whom he can devour but my Jesus is stronger than the devil and will keep me in the hollow of His hand. None the less, that doesn't mean the wicked one won't use every available opportunity to ruin your life and or health. Stay connected to the Lord!

My thoughts and prayers are with you Loren and I pray God will heal your little body, in the Name of Jesus, and give you peace of mind. And may our loving Heavenly Father also bless you, Liz and Brian, with the gentle rest you need as well. And, for her sake, I'm glad to hear Granny won't suffer any more and will now sleep until Jesus comes again to take us all home to heaven. Amen.

I couldn't sleep either, so begin praying in the early morning for you, Travis, Loren and your granny...did not know that her spirit had already gone back to God Who gave her mortal life, but Jesus has given her eternal life and you will see her again some-glad-day when on Resurrection Day we all, who are believers in Lord Jesus, arise in our new immortal and incorruptible bodies....Praise God for His mercy and grace upon each of us! Amen! Will take a while for Loren to be healed from the Strep and is grieving for her granny in her sleep...the loss is so real for her, too, but I am sooo glad granny is resting peacefully from her labors awaiting the day she will see you all again!

Dear Loren, may God bless you with quick healing of the illnesses invading your body and give you His comfort and peace for enduring and overcoming the loss of your great-grandmother and also for your mom and dad and all loved ones and friends, who will be missing her so much! Your are blessed with a mom and dad who love and take care of you....lean on them and our blessed Savior, Jesus! Amen! Ma Betty

Sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my prayers.

Lisa
