Have you ever had a clipping sound be a good target?

You know how you get excited sometimes when your initial or second swing is a good solid tone and id number? Then on the next swing the audio clips out. Have you ever had that clipping target be a good one?

Its funny ya bring this up Roland. Had this happen to me the other day last week. Got a nice strong signal back an forth, dug and popped out an indian. Swung again over same hole again, got another nice signal and popped out another indian. Swung a third time and got a clipping, semi broken high signal. Put the pinpointer in the hole and fished it around. Sure enough a seated dime. Might of been on its edge to cause the broken clipping signal. This is kinda my only experience with the clipping sound and finding a coin. Most times it turns out to be crap after my first dig. But ya never know! HH

Had a similar experience with this hunting in a hunted out park, I finally decided what the heck and did this first time for an Indian, second for a buffalo and the third another Indian, they were down below 8 inches and like Woodswalker I have dug junk since but I don't pass on signals like that now
