how it goes when you dig a goody - the next signal you think is another goody & it's a pull tab ? These things happen in life in all areas I think. Maybe the Lord is trying to keep us from being overloaded with achievements.

So my last hunt was great - lots of coins, etc. I went out today and came home with 20 coins, none old. Why can't we average finds out - like a silver each hunt instead of 4-5 one hunt & none the next 10 hunts? Many questions, few answers :) Steve in so az

Maybe He wants us to find our treasue in Him instead.
God bless you Steve, when I finally hit AZ I'l try to look you up.

Sure wish it was good ones all the time! :)

You know Steve that the first liar doesn't stand a chance, so go ahead.
I'm starting to pick up info on ghost towns in the west, a lot of which were gold mining settlements, and will start trying my luck at nugget hunting locally as there are a number of gold mining areas relatively close.

Mark - Here's the only silver dollar I have dug 1879 - but it came from a mining ghost town like you say ! You can see the old school house slab in the background. A lot of research paid off that day. Go get em !

Well, the coins and goodies have to be there to find them and ya gotta beat the other fellas and gals before they find them first!

If every day was good, we wouldn't get as big a thrill out of what we find, but if we have bad days thrown in, we sure do appreciate the good days and give God the glory and praise! It probably all evens out in the long run on coins found for the year....just have to keep detecting and they add up for sure when dedicated and patient and healthy enough to hunt for them! :)

God Bless!
