It is Steven Curtis Chapman's "Fingerprints of God".
Excellent song. Here is the lyrics to it.
I can see tears filling your eyes
And I know where they're coming from
They're coming from a heart that's broken in two
By what you don't see
The person in the mirror
Doesn't look like the magazine
Oh, but when I look at you it's clear to me that...
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know it's true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God
Never has there been and never again
Will there be another you
Fashioned by God's hand
And perfectly planned
To be just who you are
And what He's been creating
Since the first beat of your heart
Is a living breathing priceless work of art...
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know it's true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God
Just look at you
You're a wonder in the making
Oh, and God's not through, no
In fact, He's just getting started...
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know it's true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God
I hear he wrote this for his young daughter - but ya know I see the fingerprints of God in all of us.

Hi, Pete, no I have never heard that one, but oh how humbling and encouraging it is at the same time...if that makes sense!
I've often looked in the mirror and thought I was so ugly and would feel bad since I never really thought I was otherwise! But my sister-in-law told me one time that that was satan talking and to tell him to shut up and that I am not ugly! So, I don't look at myself quite that way any more....but I do see the aging and the wrinkles!!
I know God formed me in my mother's womb and made me just the way I am and He makes no junk....only satan perverts what God has created and corrupts it and he'll corrupt us if we let him!
Thanks for posting it....It really helps me feel better!
God Bless!
Betty

As for words - it's not what goes in but what comes out. As for the body - it's just what the Lord planned for us at this age and on.
So we are all right on track with what the Lord has for us, heart operation, balding & all steve

My son went with his friend to see Steven Curtis Chapman last night in Grand Rapids. He like it. I seen him about 10 years ago!
