Haven't been out much lately so today wasn't a half bad day so hit one of my favotite haunts and rounded up a pile of clad..

Hit a soccer field with my trusty 1500 in a small park for a couple of hours or so until all the soccer apes showed up. Touched the nearby playground for a few minutes and only found about twenty cents there but it was pretty full so couldn't hit everywhere. Wasn't a bad hunt. Due to all the rain we've had the ground was soft. Think I got four bucks or so.

Well at least you got out Bill. I haven't got out since April.
This weekend maybe. It's starting to cool off a little.
I am ready to go and my batteries are fully charged,
I have to get out early to avoid those soccer apes myself.
Going out in the middle of the field seems to work too.
That's how I became a sports field hunter as a matter of

I'm still stuck on pennies myself, Bill. I am thankful for them, but look forward to finding the better coins, so to speak. Wish I could spend an afternoon with somebody like you, but I have been improving lately. I fell down in a creekbed last Sunday and really hurt my back, but hope to be out detecting again this weekend.
