hea guys what sight can you find --good cheap batteries:confused:

I go to the dollar store and buy alkalines. Four for a dollar, they have to be alkaline or they don't last at all. I have always used rechargables for detecting I have some that are four years old and still kicking.

I generally buy Ray O Vac alkalines at our local Walmart. Usually priced a fair bit better than the other brands and I haven't been able to tell any difference compared to Eveready or Duracell. I do buy the good alkalines, never the standard or heavy duty.

If you have a Costco in your area check out the Kirkland batteries. I use them and they last a long time. HH Dennis in Idaho

I also go Dollar General and buy their brand of alkalines. I have noticed that some of the cheap brand of 9 volt batteries are slightly larger and don't fit some of the Fisher detectors that I use. The Dollar General alkalines fit and they last as long as the medium priced batteries that I have tried.

Costco's Kirkland batteries are way cheaper than brandname and work very well.

I also buy the batteries from the Dollar store, and Wal-Mart Ray O Vac as well.
Same price and work just fine.
