General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Original owner. Eight months old (as I own it, 16 months warranty remaining). Virtually new condition. Used about 10 times. Well taken care of. Disassembled, cleaned and stored after each use. I'm about to turn 60 yrs old. Dont't have the time and strength, for the incessant digging of a PI detector, that I thought I'd have. Give credit where it is due though. Amongst other things, did find a killer muti-diamond ring with it. Paid for itself. $525 MO, PayPal + fee.
 
Hi. My name is Tom. I'm interested in your detector, but I've never bought anything off of the computer before. How would I use pay pal, or what are the rules for sending a money order? Thx.
 
Well firstly, you'll want to know the reputation of the person you're going to buy from. Is he trustworthy and has not conned others. If you don't know, then you post the persons name on this forum and ask if others have delt with him and what's his reputation like. You'll want to know this since you'll be sending your money to him first before you receive your item. Once you feel comfortable buying from him and you both come to agreement, you send the money to his address. After receiving it, he sends the item to your address. Hopefully then everyone is satisfied. In regards to your question on payment method, in the present case the easiest (and my preferance) is a money order. Hi Vernt. I'm definitely interested in the HHPI. I've bought things off the computer before, just not on e-bay or this web site. Being that your a fellow detectorist and I'm a trustworthy person myself, I'd like to deal with you on purchasing this machine. I don't know what city your in, but I'm on Long Island. I've never worked with a PI before. Do you still have the instruction booklet?
