first thing in the morning. Going to an area about 2 1/2 hours away to detect, dig RR stuff, sift for bottles & such. I have researched the area to death so it should produce some things. Some people go just for one type of thing - seems like the more the interests the more the finds. I'll be back Monday eve, gonna take lots of pics for my report <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)"> Steve in so az

Soon as I come home next week I will go out and buy my plane ticket. Sure looking forward to meeting you and everyone else at the hunt! steve

Steve,
You should try those mines, if there's any, you might find some silver or gold in them thar mines. You've probably attempted it already. But be careful we want to hear from you and not find out you were in the bottom of a well as such. I think those places harbor bats and other creepy, crawly things. Have fun anyway.

is that sometimes mines can appear in the desert - a hole in the ground. One has to be aware and not fall in ! The state does not require them to be covered. Still, I have only seen a handfull in many decades here. steve
