Many folks don't realize that this isn't just a particular state issue. It is our NATIONAL RIGHT to bear arms. As long as you are not a convicted fellon you have a legal right to openly carry a firearm anywhere in this Nation. For any state or local govt. to say that you cannot legaly openly carry a firearm is a direct infringement of your legal rights.
Permits are to allow you and I to carry CONCEALED.

Actually if the State does its thing the convicted felon is restored according to state law then the Federal Gov cannot control the state law
But convicted people cannot pass the background check required by Federal law, this does not stop from Face to face dealing tho
Im thinking Vermont may be one of the states that Convicted Felons have the right to firearms openly and maybe Alaska I cant remember
But other states allow as long as terms and conditions of crime and punishment were met and or certain tame period has elapsed with no other trouble.

BUT if they have a sign as you enter a building (No Guns) Then you cannot legaly carrie one inside--I carried mine into all the buildings Except those with a sign---I did have some people Stare very hard at me---I did Not see any gunfighter Rigs but was told there are some that enter that way !

Now all the pictures I've seen of him is from his back or without a sign. I could be wrong but not sure. The liberal media has made him out as a opponent of health care.
