Headphone Pairing

So, after I got the headphones charged (the detector battery came already charged), I attempted to pair the headphones with the machine. After several unsuccessful tries, and re-reading the instructions, I was about to go into a panic. Then it occurred to me that perhaps my cel phone was interfering with my attempts to pair with the detector. So, I moved to another area, leaving the phone behind and SUCCESS. Guess I've got a lot to learn with the new technology.
Also, I couldn't resist jumping right in, so I went into my back yard to just experiment with different settings and such. My house/yard is about 14 years old, so no chance of finding anything old, probably not even any coins. I did find the two brass pieces from sprinkler heads I ran over while mowing the lawn. I was impressed with the pinpointing accuracy of the machine.
Tomorrow to the" field!"

So can I use headphones to listen to music with my phone? Can I pair my dog collar headphones to the detector?

Guess you could, if you can figure out how to get your headphones to recognize your dog’s collar. Or iPhone....
