headphones?

i tried using the radio shack headphones that i use on my t-2. after getting the smaller jack adapter i couldn't get any sound. is the explorer mono or stereo. these headphoes don't have the switch for both like the ones i usually get. thanks
 
It takes a stereo jack although there is no difference that I can tell between the signals on each channel - you have to make sure that you use a stereo adapter - I like their gold plated ones the best - worth a couple extra bucks.
