Headphones!

I am sure this has been discussed a time or two.. Looking for a new pair of headphones for my Safari. The last pair I had was by Chefphones. Pretty good head phone! Thinking about going with a Gray Ghost NDT this time. Does anyone own these? Or maybe a recommendation for one that works great with the Safari and is very comfortable?

The first pair I purchased were grey ghosts. After about a week or two they started crackling and cutting out. Where the wire enters the headphone was very loose and eventually came apart. It was very cheaply made for the price. I probably just got a lemon, based on what everyone else says about them, but I'll never try them again. I know have a pair of Jolly Roger Ultimates and I love them! Very comfortable, solidly made, and I've been using and abusing them now for a couple years and they are still as good as the day I got them.
Hope this helped! Good luck!

I use GG NDT's with the safari and they having very good audio.

I have owned quiet a few headphones for my detectors in the past. Seems like all of them end up shorting out at some point. With all our technology's you would think they could come up with a little heavier duty wiring for them...

Don't overlook the wireless tdk ......they work great on all fbs machines,no lag and volume control.and very light and not hot while wearing them on hot days

Because my hearing isn't what it used to be, I bought a pair of Audio-Tecnicha ATH-AN7B noise-cancelling headsets. When you switch on the active noise cancelling, you won't believe it. As for the sound your supposed to hear, they are really crisp and definitive. The cord is not as robust as I like but the good thing is its replaceable.
