just in case it was nice in the morning - and it was. Hit another one of the schools that are closed for spring break.
Didn't have the camera with me so didn't get any scenic pics but here are pics of today's finds.

The clad and other coins totalled $3.71 (5 cents shy of yesterday's total) with 5 quarters, 12 dimes, 15 nickels and 51 pennies.
Some interesting finds included this charm:

Looks like some 25th anniversary of something related to the Michigan Department of State Highways and Transportation. I don't even think the name is the same now as we have MDOT (Michigan Department of Transportation). This bears more investigation.
I about had my heart leap out of my chest when I dug up this earring - with one of those spring loaded clips to hold it to the ear:

Probably all fake diamonds (cut glass - figuring it to be pre-Cubic Zirconia) but sure did shine in the sun. (Found behind the swing sets at the edge where the grass met the chip bark - always check this area at the edge both front and back. At the front edge is where I once found a .55 carat diamond wedding ring. So check both front and back edges)
Speaking of 'sparkly' things found this 'Girls' pin
<p align=center><img src="http://coinshooter.owly.net/GirlsPin.jpg"></p></center>
Had a mixed emotion on this next item. Very nice heart with Luv on both sides of it.
<p align=center><img src="http://coinshooter.owly.net/LuvHeart.jpg"></p></center>
Look close at the L as there is a devils head and at the end of the V is a forked tail. I don't understand why these had to be added to the otherwise nice looking design.
Didn't take a close up of the .380 caliber shell casing but it was in the playground. Wonder who is shooting off a .380 on school property? Sure hope the teachers are outside with the kids. Certainly hoping that some kid didn't bring a gun to school to show off.
My sleep cycle sure is messed up going from work to detecting to bed. Now I should be sleepiing for tonight. Well maybe a short nap later.
Hope others got out today and had a great God given day.

I bet that 25th item must be an anniversary of pot holes or something like that! <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">
