Hey guys and gals. Just wanna give you the heads up on traveling with your equipment in trunks or back hatch. I'm experiencing temps over 90 degrees here in MI. I've read some horror stories about detectors getting fried in trunks. Have a safe and wonderful 4th of July!!! hhrickinmi

I worry about it here in south Bama too. It’s dang hot and constantly humid here at the coast. I keep at least one detector in my pickup at all times. So far so good. I worry less about the kruzer as it’s waterproof and you’d think high temps would be considered by the manufacturer for beach hunting and nugget shooting. But it gets exceptionally hot inside a vehicle. I have window shades so my windows are never fully closed. I would be very sad if anything happened to my T2.

Good info to share, never thought about that. Would it be considered detectorside if it accidentally got fried? Would her family forgive me if I upgraded to a newer model? Thats not a confession by the way......
