Heavy trash areas

I was wondering how the Sovereign performs in heavy trash like old house places with a small coil? Also which coil is best?

I don't like it nearly as much in those scenarios as I do at say the beach or the woods or a farm filed. But you can hunt quite effectively with a smaller coil, such as your Sunray or Excelerator 5 & 6" round models. And you may need to slow down a bit to catch the good targets in and around iron and trash. Of course you will lose some depth, but what you gain in target separation will make up for it.

All I hunt are old home sites, lots of unwanted signals.
But if you go slow, and give the machine time to recover, it works great
I have a Sunray 5" excelerator coil, and a 800 bbs
Both do well in heavy trash areas
The key with the Soveriegn, is go slow, and if you think your going slow enough,, your not, go slower!!
Took me a long time to learn that, I was always in such a hurry it seemed, The slower I go, the better the finds
Good luck,
My 2 zincs worth
