Hell Fire: A Twisted Truth Untangled

There are several reasons for being so sure on this point. First of all, this earth is also declared to be the final home for the righteous.

Your assumption that the wicked will be punished on this earth and therefore the wicked must be burned up (according to you) so that the believers can live afterward on this planet is deeply flawed to say the least. This earth is not the home of the believer - it never has been. The believe is a sojourner here - the elect reside as foreigners - for the land of promise given as our eternal home is Jerusalem. No, not some city in the middle-east, not that Jerusalem which was but a type. That eternal city has a builder and maker which is God - it is not this earth.

By faith he resided as a foreigner in a land of promise, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the joint-heirs of the same promise; for he looked forward to a city having the foundations of which the builder and maker is God. (Heb 11:9-10)

Abraham looked forward to the day when he would reside in that heavenly city. There is nothing eternal on this earth - this earth will be destroyed by fire on that last day. Our eternal city wherein righteousness dwells in a city yet to be.

For we do not have here a continuing city, but we seek the city coming. (Heb 13:14)

The earth and the heavens and all that is in them will be dissolved - they will be gone! So, our heavenly city is not on this sin-cursed earth, that is not the coming city.

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed. Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn! (2Pe 3:10-13)

The believers, like Abraham, are waiting by faith for the New Heavens and a New Earth! It is a new creation - this present universe is gone. That is our eternal heavenly city - the New Jerusalem (which spiritually will be the City of Peace).

But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace. (2Pe 3:10-14)

The New Heaven and New Earth are not the same as the first earth - which has passed away, they are new creations unlike the old. You can remove that stumbling stone then - for the wicked do not have to be burned up in order to make way for the habitation of the believers on this earth. This earth is gone, and the heavens - it has all passed away forever.

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. (Rev 21:1-3)

On to your next error - are the unbelievers burned up on the earth and also gone forever? Notice that after God describes the New Earth and Heavens and that this is our new eternal home - He says:

But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lamb's book of life. (Rev 21:27)

How could anyone who is unclean - that is, unredeemed, enter the city if they no longer exist, if they are all were burned up in the consuming fire that destroyed the earth? Well, we just need to read a bit further:

Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates. Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. (Rev 22:14-15)

Those that are washed in Christ's blood and wear His symbolic robe of covering - they have spiritually eaten of the Tree of Life - which is Christ, and have eternal life. These are the only ones allowed to enter into the symbolic gates of the Kingdom of God and abide in the New Heavens with Christ. And who are those that are OUTSIDE the blessing of God and receive none of these things? Why, it is none other than the unregenerate who you have erroneously decided to burn up with the earth.

But they aren't turned to ash are they? They exist - outside the city - and they aren't permitted into the city, that is, they have no part in the future blessings that God will bestow on those He loves.

You do err in this - for God is not mocked! The unbelievers continue to exist - and in torment they are thrown out of the presence of God. Those that recline at table with Abraham, are those that have the faith of Abraham - i.e., a living faith given by God. These are the believers that abide in the Kingdom of Heaven. For the ungodly, they exist in outer darkness (not on the earth mind you), and suffer with much weeping over their eternal state.

I tell you, many will come from east and west and recline at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven, while the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." (Mat 8:11-12)

The wicked are put "in that place" - which is called outer darkness, where they gnash their teeth. Not for a few moments and then are no more as you propose. In order to put the wicked in their place there must first come a Judgment - a separation of the just from the unjust.

Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left. (Mat 25:32-33)

What happens to the elect - His sheep, the ones God chose to save from their sins? They enter into that Heavenly City - the New Jerusalem, and abide eternally with Christ, as we have already seen.

Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. (Mat 25:34)

What happens to the non-elect - the goats, the ones God did not choose? Just as we've already read - they are cast out into eternal fire, a place of habitation outside the eternal City, a place that God also prepared for those that are cursed.

"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. (Mat 25:41)

In case you are still tempted to wiggle away from the truth God is presenting -- Jesus repeats their fate again:

And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life." (Mat 25:46)

The nature of the punishment is - eternal. The nature of the life for the righteous is - eternal. Same word! There are two groups, goats and sheep, one Judgment at the end of the world, and two destinations: abide in the New Heavens or abide in Outer Darkness. Both are eternal, never ending, everlasting abodes.

As much as men want to rid God of the unrighteous by burning them up - God will not allow it. The wicked offended an eternal God - and so they pay an eternal price, in an eternal punishment. We are all by nature eternal - which is why it is serious matter as to which kingdom we belong: Christ's or Satan's. Apart from Christ taking our eternal punishment for us, we would join the wicked in eternal torment apart from God outside the Holy City, forever in darkness. But, Christ is God, and can pay our eternal debt in finite time - whereas we cannot.

And this is the promise which He promised us: everlasting life. (1Jn 2:25)

This is why it is so fearful to fall into the hand of God. There is something to fear. Those that torture Scripture to avoid the eternal torment of the unrighteous stand alone - for in opposing God they out of their own minds seek to negate what God has spoken. Yet, God has spoken and He will bring it to pass.

And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever. And those worshiping the beast and its image have no rest night and day, even if anyone receives the mark of its name. (Rev 14:11)

For those that are interested, the Beast is a typology to represent the unreasoning mind of man - that is like unto a beast. The Beast is the unregenerate, wicked man who worships his father Satan. They carry the mark, or ownership, of their master, just as the believers are marked by God as His possession. Again, two groups or families - God's and Satan's. Each with two different eternal destinations. Best to take it seriously.

Distant ones, hear what I have done; and you near ones, know My might. The sinners of Zion are afraid; terror has seized profane ones; who of us shall tarry with consuming fire? Who of us shall tarry with everlasting burnings?

He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly; he who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes his hands free from taking the bribe, who stops his ear from hearing of blood, and shuts his eyes from looking at evil. He shall live on high; strongholds of rocks will be his retreat; his bread shall be given; his waters are faithful. Your eyes shall see the king in his beauty; they shall see a land that is very far off. (Isa 33:13-17)

Two groups of people:

The wicked are ordained to the consuming fire - the Lake of Fire, which is the second death. The first death is the separation of our body from our soul - the second death is the separation of ourselves from God's Spirit and all His blessings, it is to be cast out - a death that is eternal. Thus is recorded an everlasting burning - not because the fire burns nothing forever - but because the fire burns the wicked forever. The smoke of their torment ascends forever, not as you suppose in some fashion after they are long gone or turned to ash, but because they are still present and in torment for ever - an everlasting destruction from the face of the Lord!

And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; (2Th 1:7-9)

The believer shall find refuge in the "strongholds of rocks", which is Christ the Rock, and shall eat the Bread and Water of Life, which again is Christ. Thus, the righteous also continue forever - in their abode with Christ in the New Heavens and New Earth.

No one like the idea of the wicked enduring a punishment that last forever - but when we are with God in heaven, then we'll understand the Holiness of God more fully, and then fully understand how abhorrent sin is to God. We'll know just what it means to offend an eternal God who is angry forever. That will be our reminder of the great price that Christ had to pay.

And indeed, if Christ paid that eternal price on the behalf of the elect - you can be certain the wicked WILL pay too - to the last cent it paid - a time period that will never be obtained. Only Christ could pay the utmost farthing and redeem us from the wrath of God. Thus, the matter is eternally weighty and should make us fearful that we adjudge ourselves circumspectly - lest we be found as unfaithful servants upon His return.

And if anyone was not found having been written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the Lake of Fire. (Rev 20:15)

And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (Rev 20:10)

For this reason we beseech men that they turn from their sins and beg God for mercy in the here and now. What to worry if the wicked are but in a moment burned up - but what to worry knowing that God is a consuming fire that will unleash His eternal wrath upon the wicked forever and ever!

Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger. (Zep 2:3)

Welcome to the forum Jonnyanglo. I can appreciate your zeal, for the Lord, and appreciate your response but do not agree with your explanation. The Apostle John, in the Book of Revelations clearly explains the things to come upon Jesus' return, for those who understand what is written. It would appear we do not share the same understanding of God's Word and I will not agrue with you on such.
I believe and trust God's Word, as it is written, and attempt to live my life accordingly. You're free to believe whatever you wish but not free to ridacule what I believe and or have posted what I believe to be the truth. It's quite alright to call me a 'liar' before the world but not all right you call God and His Word a lie before the world. I will pray that God will grant you greater understanding and wisdom in sharing the truth of His Word, as it is written. Thank you.

Welcome to the Forum Johnyanglo! Glad to have you here with your view, also, of what the Bible has revealed to you and I, also, believe your way! But we all are still growing in faith and in the knowledge of God's Word through the leading and guidance of His Holy Spirit and when we seek we shall find and when we ask He will answer! I am not calling anyone a Liar, for only God knows for sure who are and who aren't! I just know that unless we have the Lord Jesus Christ as our own personal Savior, we shall be lost and will not have His joy unspeakable and full of glory by being living with Jesus, now, in His eternal city called, new Jerusalem!

Are we saved from our repentant sins and safe in Jesus the Rock of our Salvation or will we be condemned as a sinner and on our way unto the second death and never to have God's wonderful, forgiving agape love? I choose Jesus and believe in Him and He is my All in all! What is after that is up to Him, for there are many who believe in the Words of God in many different ways....we understand as we live and study God's Word, diligently, and climb higher to Mt. Zion as we do by faith in Whom we believe and I believe that Jesus is God's only begottn Son, Who lived in human flesh and was tempted in all points the same as we are, Who died by crucifixion of a terrible suffering death that we might be saved and then lived again that we might have eternal life with Him! To argue the scriptures is satan's way of getting us to war among ourselves and cause people to fail and fall backwards from their faith and then have to do their first works over! I pray that I will always have my right mind and not fail in following my Lord and Savior Jesus in HIs glorious lit pathway leading into eternal glory and into the presence of my Heavenly Father and then to dwell with Him in His eternal city when there will be new heavens and a new earth! Amen! All our righteousness is in Christ Jesus and in no other! He is the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to God Jehovah, our Heavenly Father, but through HIm, for Jesus is our Heavenly Father and God born in the flesh of man who was both fully God and fully man but suffered in the flesh the same as you and I do so there will be no excuse for mankind to say He doesn't understand, Who now is sitting on His throne and awaits the time to catch us up to be with Him forever and ever the day and hour we will be with Him on a new and peaceful earth!

My prayer is for each of us to be saved before it is too late and not have to experience the punishing flames of fire from a God of Wrath for He is a God of wrath the same as He is a God of love....just depends on our love and belief in Him or our unbelief in Who Jesus is as the beloved Son of God Who will save us if we will only confess our sins and believe in Him by accepting Him as out our own personal Savior! May we keep seeking and finding; asking and receiving! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

It would appear we do not share the same understanding of God's Word and I will not agrue with you on such.

I would hope rather that you do argue. I'd hope that God's Word is important enough to you that you don't stop comparing Scripture with Scripture until you understand what God is teaching.

It is for every Christian to be like the men of Berea and search the Scriptures thoroughly until it is harmonized and you have truth.

Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so. (Act 17:11)

You're free to believe whatever you wish but not free to ridacule what I believe and or have posted what I believe to be the truth.

It is rarely a good feeling to be corrected - but if we receive correction it is a good thing, is it not? The modern church's philosophy toward truth is that you can have yours and I can have mine. And we can all just each believe whatever makes us happiest. However, with God there is no such ambiguity - for He is Absolute Truth. And His Book, when in harmony with itself, is Truth. Christians are supposed to be a Holy Nation, a people of the Book, followers of Christ whose word is Truth. How is it that we believe we are permitted to have our own private interpretations and are outside being conformed to the word of God. The church has done their congregations a huge disservice by perpetuating the idea that truth is relative to the hearer.

They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them. We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error. (1Jn 4:5-6)

The Bible is not a toy that a child can play with - picking and choosing a verse here and there to construct a plaything. If we are of God we will hear the voice of God when He speaks through His Scripture - that is how we can judge if we are Christ's, are we conformed to His teaching and obey, or resist?

"If you love me, you will keep my commandments. (Joh 14:15)

It's quite alright to call me a 'liar' before the world but not all right you call God and His Word a lie before the world.

The word of God cannot lie! Therefore, your teaching that you present, that there is no eternal wrath of God abiding on the lost is error, plain and simple. You have taught that at the end of the world no eternal punishment awaits the wicked - and this is a false teaching. You can call it a lie, but it is at least a grave error and at most a lie. In either case it cannot be ignored as if it were true.

I do not call God's word a lie. No Scripture can annul another Scripture. Since the Scripture clearly and harmoniously teaches that there is eternal punishment awaiting the wicked (and eternal blessing awaiting the faithful), you do err - not God. Scripture is never to be taken out of context and misapplied. I have witnessed to the truth and to your error - whether you repent of it is up to you, though I'd pray you do.

In reality, your argument is not with me - for I am only witnessing to the truth given in the Scriptures. If you choose to debate then debate with God - for these are His commandments out of His mind given to us. Though I'm certain your arms are too short to box with the Almighty. If you choose to believe and teach error, then let God be the judge -- I say rather, let God be true and every man a liar.

I will pray that God will grant you greater understanding and wisdom in sharing the truth of His Word, as it is written.

Indeed he has, and no doubt will, as He does to all those who are called according to His purpose and love Him and His word and do not shrink back from truth.

Oh my, there are none as righteous as Jesus, so why would we think that we as mere humans, but saved in Christ Jesus for the Resurrection of His faithful saints, are as knowledgable and righteous as He is! Jesus is the Living Word and anyone who thinks they have arrived and know the truth as God knows it are fooling themselves! Let us not argue among ourselves but rather teach the salvation grace of our Lord Jesus Christ! For God loved the world (His human creations) so much that He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, that we might be saved from all our sins and whosoever will may come and partake of HIs fountain of Living Water, daily! If we did not have a choice, then Jesus would not have had to die (God Himself giving His life in human flesh of man but never sinned nor had sin, being born pure and holy of a virgin, so He could die for mankind! His blood would not have had to wash us clean because God by predestinating us that would not have needed to be done! He would just choose you, me and others and give us no choice to love and serve Him!

I am very glad He came and died for me and I am also glad that God's Holy Spirit drew me to Him when I heard the true words of the Bible and my heart was softened and helped me to confess all my sins and live my life for Jesus, as the Savior and Lord of my soul! Predestination doesn't require anything but only for the One Whom you say has already predestinated those He wants with Him forever more as His faithful servants and saints! They would just yield and know they are His and have no choice in it, which we do....we must choose Jesus or we die in our sins! Sinners will be condemned of their unforgiven sins, but those who confess their sins are forgiven and then walk in the light that they are given, step by step! Jesus (God in the flesh) sacrified His life for us but He says obedience is better than sacrifice for His Children saved by His loving and forgiving grace, which means obeying the guidance and wisdom of the Holy Spirit as He gives it to us and it is up to us whether we study, diligently, or if we study slowly or just sit in a pew and listen to the preacher, who has only the knowledge he is given to preach by God's Holy Spirit and studying the Word of God while gaining godlly wisdom or not! Let us study the Bible for ourselves and then none of us will be fooled by preachers dressed in wolves clothing! I look forward to being with Jesus like Paul said, but I won't be taken Home until He is through using me for His service and I pray that I stay in faithful servie to Him! Amen! Ma Betty

AMEN, Ma! Welcome to the forum, Johnnyanglo. Please feel free to jump right in and become a part of the family. The goal of our forum is this: This forum is for posting your comments about metal detecting and to provide a place where you will be able to greet your friends and express your religious beliefs without fear of being singled out as a problem to your peers.) Please try to keep this in mind-we are of different faiths here and certainly have different thoughts and interpretations of the scripture. That being said, I can safely say, we all LOVE the Lord here and strive to be the best Christians we can be. Perhaps it would be wise to contact someone via PM first if you have something to discuss that might be questionable. We have had issues with ppl who pop in only to cause chaos. Hope you prove otherwise to us ;)

Liz,

You have said "we are of different faiths here and certainly have different thoughts and interpretations of the scripture". And when "different interpretations" are offered on a daily basis without correction, though they are indefensible from scripture, you believe that it is loving to let God be untrue and every man be true. You are afraid of chaos - but you already have it.

The churches have sought the same - they avoid chaos, that is, reproof and correction, so as to keep all the feathers unruffled in the congregation. They can't speak the truth because the truth is an offense and so they speak nothing. The congregations are full - but full of what? Not those that love God and His truth - but those that love to believe whatever feels good in their own eyes.

You can have a "Christian forum" that is occupied by those that love God and His truth or one that is the home of those who do and believe whatever they want, but not both at the same time. What habitation does darkness and light have together? I understand your intent, but as long as bad theology and errors are posted, you should expect true Christians to respond. If no challenge to errors are made then there is harmony, complacency, and acceptance of all viewpoints, which you desire, but at what cost? When the 'chaos' of defending truth is no longer an issue then it is a religious forum but not a Christian forum (a "Christian" forum without Christians?).

Your suggestion that lies be permitted to be posted and rebuttals and reproofs be PM'd - what is this? Christianity isn't a membership club like COSTCO that we join and go about our lives afterward unchanged, to keep our club card in a shoe box. Why do we want error to be freely expressed and the truth hidden? If we love Jesus Christ then we keep His commandments and we don't permit His name to be defamed or sacrifice at the alter of tolerance and acceptance. Was Jesus accepting of lies and distortions - would you expect Jesus to ignore those who twist Scripture for the sake of avoiding 'chaos'. I'm sure you wouldn't.

You will have to realize that opposing VIEWPOINTS and OPINIONS can coincide side-by-side but the word of God CANNOT be set against itself or demoted to opinion. There is a difference between viewpoints and truth - the Christian needs to have iron sharpening iron, comparing spiritual with spiritual, and thereby seeking to find truth in doing so. The world outside can believe up is down and lies are truth, they can have their religious viewpoint all day long, but not within a Christian forum (or a Christian church for that matter), that is, if we still want to place the adjective "Christian" in front of the word 'Forum'.

Ultimately, if you want to be faithful to Christ, then either debating with Scripture is permitted for all, or, no doctrinal debate or doctrinal proofs or claims should be made. Either it is a metal detecting forum devoted to the hobby where Christians can discuss these things. Or it permits, coinciding with the hobby, theological debate amongst Christians with scripture, and the sharpening of Christians to the things of God.

But I'd suggest a Christian Forum cannot, by definition, be half-hearted or double-minded: allowing the posting of doctrine but also restricting scriptural rebuttal to errors - that isn't how Christians live, move, or have their being. In my mind, the latter is the better answer - it is primarily a metal detecting forum and therefore should restrict itself to the subject - doctrinal assertions of various subjects should be forbidden, which if all follow the no-doctrine rule would be fair to all and not blemish the name of Christ. There are other forums available to discuss the Bible - this one is supposed to be about metal detecting - it is impossible to mix the two, and I see no advantage to try. The end result will only be compromise and the word of God should never be compromised.

john

I don't compromise my Faith in Christ Jesus and I'm sure Liz doesn't either! As far as posting about Christ on this Forum, each one is free to post their beliefs as they know them and, although, each claims to be right and the only way, let us not fight among ourselves and spoil our friendship on this CMD Forum! We can agree to disagree, but if you don't want different faiths posted then you need to go to your own Faith forum where each agrees with the other!

None of us have the whole truth and can twist the Word of God to fit whatever we want others to believe along with us! I study the Word of God for myself and think for myself in the love and wisdom which by Savior and Lord gives me through God's Holy Spirit! There is only one thing I will argue against and that is if anyone says, Jesus is not the virgin born, one and only Son of God and is not the One Who saves us from our sins, then I will argue until dooms day, but all the other past, present and future readings and prophecies of the Bible I will learn as the Holy Spirit leads and teaches me through the Bible and not of what man speaks...for mankind err...and God's Holy Spirit doesn't!

Do you have the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues? If not, maybe you aren't saved either, for many say that this is a requirement to be saved and be able to get through the Pearly Gate with Jesus! Sooooo....many ways to believe, but the One and Only God, through Whom we have eternal life is Jesus and He is God born in the ffleh of man, Who is pure and holy and will save our souls by our confessing all our sins to Him, sincerely! Let the lost be saved and then study the Living Word of God (JESUS) for themselves and when listening to preachers may they study the Scriptures that are preached themselves and let them know if this Preacher is on the up and up for Jesus or just wanting an easier way to earn monies! There are Tares sown among the church members and there are Preachers dressed in Wolves Clothing and it is up to each of us to study and know the difference!

You may think you are right entirely by the Scriptures you post on here, but there are others who think the Scriptures they post are right and the only way, too, but let us not argue among the brethren and love one another as Jesus says for us to do! The First Commandment is to Love God Jehovah and to love Him only as our one and only God and the Second is to Love One Another, as He has loved and forgiven us, which all the rest of the Ten Commandments hang on to....When we obey these First Two we will be led to honor and keep the others as we grow in knowledge, godly wisdom and faith! Our Forum is for Christian MD'ers who want a place to show pics and tell of their :detecting: finds and to post their faith in Jesus, whether we agree with each other or not, without being cursed and having to read ungodly posts and words! We don't war on this forum and don't want others to do so either....that is done on each Christian's Forum of Faith that believe each other's way, entirely! May God Bless each one of us and lead us into all TRUTH!! Amen! Ma Betty

Welcome to the forum ,Johnny Anglo,
I've posted in this forum before, but haven't since nov, elections.
Yes i agree with you on your post. the Word of God is true!
Heaven and Hell are real, and the wicked will suffer.
Anyone who profess to be a Christion and does not believe what scripture says
is not a true christian . This will be the last post in this forum for me.
I refuse to sit in the presents of those who call themselves something they are not.
This should be about detecting only! that way all the name calling (of our congress and others)
which I'm sure Jesus is shaking his head at would seize.
Some of you here sould really ask for forgiveness. then maybe just maybe your prayers will be answered!
If you say your a follower of Jesus, You should act like it!
i'm shaking the dust from my feet and going detecting!

Well Jadeson you've had your say and have judged me as well as others of not being true Christians! I am sure God would not approve of BO and his cohorts and we can call them what they are: Communists and unbelievers! I am a Christian and you can say I am not but that doesn't make it so.....God judges and He knows where my allegiance to Jesus Christ and my heart is! If you want to think differently so be it....for it doesn't change a thing! The CMD Forum is for detectorists and is also for those of their faith to express what they believe without being censored by others and called Liars! If you don't agree then just do not post and go post on the forums with those who do agree with you! You can stay or you can go I will not stop you! My understanding of some Scriptures are different than yours, Martin's or Johnny Anglo's understandings....but there is one truth that we do agree with and that is that: God came in the flesh of mankind and died for all sinners by paying sins' debt in full which we could not pay!

I praise God for His mercy and His grace in saving me! Yes, He drew me Spiritually unto Him and I accepted Jesus as my Savior and Lord! He lives and therefore I live through Him and have eternal life....Now whether that be in heaven, upon a new Earth or wherever, I shall be with my Lord, Who loves me and I love Him because He first loved me! All the other is fought over and just causes trouble in the churches and in the different religions...satan's way of destroying! I pray that we will have peace in Christ to endure and overcome all trials and things that come to us by lies of the devil through the ones that serve him and then when we are with God we will know as He knows...and we can't even imagine the unlimited knowledge that our God Jehovah knows and wants to share all His goodness with us, but we do have to make the choice to accept and follow Jesus, for it is not automatic, as we are all born sinners in need of a Savior! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
