Hello all......Remember I told you that Ma is very forgetful? Well....

yesterday....wasn't any different. I arrived on time but two days early at the dr's office and not too many were happy about it, as they were very busy, but did work me into their schedule and I went through, quickly, actually quicker then the day and time I an scheduled! Didn't have much of a check-up maybe two mins with the dr with him using his stylus on the small Computer like thing and then out I went! I went to pick up my meds and get some more food, but ended up looking at some clothes I needed and to search for the right size and what I like...tough job, as they are usally out of my size in the type of clothes I like to wear and look better in, so I took longer for that and forgot the anti-virus disc....See I told you I am forgetful and I sure am when my mind is upon other things! Got the clothes, meds and food......but still no anti-virus protection, so will still be awhile before I will open or send any emails!

Was a beautiful, sunny day, yesterday, but cloudy today and I am so sore and hurting until I can hardly walk or do anything, so I am spending time on the Computer, where I can sit and not move so much! Ohhhhh, osteo-arthritis, no one should have and ache like I do most of the time, plus not being able to breathe correctly because of COPD! Pulmonary Disease!
But God has blessed me to still walk (most of the time) and to get out to the dr and go shopping. even though it wears me out, I can still do something....many folks my age are either in wheelchairs, bedridden or dead; therefore, I Praise God and Thank Jesus for being sooo good to me and helping to provide and protect me many, many times! No matter what each of us may have to go through, we've always have reasons to give Him praise, glory and honor for what He has done and will do, by the virgin birth, death and resurrection of Jesus, our risen Savior's love for the Children of God! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

I know some other folks who have shown up early for appointments too! You're not the only one, Ma, so think nothing of it. They probably see that happen more often than you think. I feel your pain - literally - and hope you're feeling better and able to get around soon. Your trip to the store sounds about like some of mine! I can got to Walmart to buy dog/cat food and end up spending $100 (or more) and get home and realize that I FORGOT THE DOG/CAT FOOD!!!

Lisa

Boy, that's an all time forgetfullness :) Glad it all worked out though. Keep on doing what you do while you can, steve in so az

Thank you, Lisa, I just had to laugh about your forgetting the cat & dog food that you went after! I guess we have so much on our minds (which need purged once in awhile) that we have to forget a few things or many like I do in my case! :) The older I get, my memory doesn't seem to get any better! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Hi ddl, I didn't comfess that about forgetting to take my own meds at the right time or at all, as I am a mess in other ways, but not taking meds is bad......real, real bad! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Just kidding ma. Glad you got out and got some stuff you wanted done.

Lisa is so right, Ma! When I worked as a medical assistant MANY years ago, we had many people who had issues with their appointments. I had a couple of people I would call and remind before every appt! We also kept inexpensive pill reminders at the office for people who needed them. Don't fret about having trouble remembering....it happens to ALL of us. Sounds like you showing up early was a good think after all! About your anti-virus protection, I'm pretty sure some of the anti-virus protection can be downloaded. I have downloaded Norton 360 before and it was very simple. Just a thought...you could do that without leaving the house! Hope you are having a blessed day!

Mike and Dk......you guys are hilarious and thanks for the laugh....I don't know what I would do without you all and your posts and prayers, as you brighten my day even when it is dreary, cloudy, raining or misting rain like today! Still haven't recovered from Tuesday's outing but I will slowly and surely until the next time! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Thanks, Liz, it was just the first time I was too early, for generally I am late about arriving at the correct time although on the right day....but when there, I sit and wait until I almost fall asleep!

As far as the Norton Anti-Virus, I won't download anything or open up my emails until I am protected! I tried getting Norton renewed over the Net but after putting in my Credit Card number, they wanted my 3-digit number on the back with all my personal information, and I won't do that, which they all seem to be required now but because of ID Theft and not knowing who works in these companies and where they're from....too many immigrants and illegal immigrants hired and how honest they are I do not know! Sooooo I would rather be safe than sorry, and purchase the Disc when I can remember to.....That Is! My protection ended May 8! I used to upload and renew it without much trouble, but didn't have to give so much info like they want now! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Hi Mike, Chgo area...I am happy that you're one of God's Children now and left the drinking of booze and satan's darkness behind you by following in Jesus' gloious lit path which leads to everlasting life and heaven! :) May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Hey Ma, you must be right about me being hilarious. My ex wife used to laugh at me a lot. She would always say, very funny Doug, very funny.:yikes:

Well maybe Doug! Have you always made people laugh and guess your ex didn't always agree with you when she said, Very funny, Doug, very funny.....in other words you weren't so funny in what you said for her to believe or agree with you! I've been there, also! :punch:  May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
