Thanks everyone for your prayers and continued prayers! Unexpectedly, I signed an Authorization to Show Doc on my house in Cuba, MO. I had said that I may have to sell it and not move because of Cliff's serious illness and my being sick and unable to do much, also! Well, Jane my realtor, sent an email and said I could sign a document to show to interested buyers that she might have and not list it for sale as yet. Well, she chose the figure of $137,000 to price it at and then I could get most of the monies back from purchasing it after the commission and etc were taken off, which would give us some wiggle room...her speaking! Then later on at the end of July or Aug we could list it, if I still needed to sell and Ciff was still with me and have more buyers to be interested in it by then!
Well, as I wrote SeniorSeeker in my other post, I have a buyer, they really like the property and are a young couple with a 2-yr old son and want to plan for another child to go with him, so she is a stay at home, MOM!

They can only afford what I paid for it and that means I would lose a lot of money in closing costs and interests that I have paid since purchasing the Cuba, MO home in Sept of 2008! She has reduced the commisssion to half of 6% but I still would come out at a loss which I don't really like, as I have too much debt! Selling this house would pay off most of my debts and not have a mortgage to pay and the other loans and credit cards I would pay off or in a short time; but if I keep this one and sell that one without making anything, I would still have the loans and credit cards to pay, but would have the mortgage paid off on this one, which does include taxes and ins that I still would need to pay! The taxes are way cheaper in Cuba than here in St. Louis South County!
I did get a contract on my home but not at the price I wanted, soooo I know God is in it and always has been, but what should I do sell or not sell and see what happens with Cliff and my sister's ill husband, so we could have the Cuba, MO home to live in by ourselves???? I don't want to take less than $130,000 at the least and that would net me the price of $125,000, more or less what I paid for the house! But she isn't sure that they can handle $130,000 and still have money to do some upkeeps on it! It is liveable now, but could be updated if people want the better stuff to show off their homes to company and to enjoy while living in it! Cliff and I would have to have some outside painting of doors and the shed, powerwashing of the siding and the Direct TV hooked up again.....everything is mostly there and even the plug-ins are in the walls....mine has to have those done becauses the cords are just coming through holes in the floors and can't move anything from place to place!
Now, that is my unspoken request and I know with God through prayers that I will be doing the right thing for me and, hopefully, for others! Amen!

God Bless! Betty
