Rained here last night and looks like more rain, today! Yesterday, was gray and dreary looking and still is! Looks like winter weather is beginning but could still have some nice days along with the bad ones! We needed the rain, soooo not all bad, as God provides what we need in one way or the other! Hold fast to your faith my bros and sisters, as the Book of Revelation hasn't been completely fulfilled as yet!!! But Jesus is our ARK of safety and in Him we are saved unto everlasting life and safe from all evil, although we go through a lot, He sees us through unto the end and never leaves nor forsakes us, who are His own! May God Bless and keep on blessing His Children and saving the lost souls prayed for in Jesus' precious name! Amen!

Amen, ma. We have gotten rain to and it was much needed. Doesn't make for good traveling back and forwards to the hospital, but still thankful for it!

we got just a tiny bit of rain. When I dug earlier today there was only moisture at the top. The rest of the dirt is bone dry. Lakes are going down fast too.
Looks like some in the forecast though.

Yes, I think more rain will be coming but much of it might be in snow! Looks like we may have a long, cold winter but only God knows for sure! Keep warm up North and put on your woolies and in the South ya probably won't need them! I used to wear long-handles underneath my clothes when I went metal-detecting in the cold and two pairs of socks...could harldy bend or move at times! Also, gloves keep the hands warm, but I used to use them all the time anyway when digging in the ground for protection from broken glass, needles and sharp items encountered! I carried them away in a disposable trash bag to keep kids from being harmed by them! Didn't like aluminum can slaw either...always a bunch from the mowers cutting and scattering it! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

we don't even own a pair of longies! We wear shorts and a T-shirt till it is 40 below! :surprised:

Well not me, me son, and if I were your real mom, I would tell you to get some warm clothes on for it is winter-time....like I did my son for years...he is starting to wear a Jacket now when it is colder, as he has passed 50 and the body's temp of youth cools down! Oh, and I wore fur lined boots along with two pairs of socks....Ma's youth disappeared years and years ago but always did shiver in the cold and icy air! :) May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Thanks everyone....the sun has been shining beautifully today with cooler temps but not too cold, as yet! The years have passed so swiftly for this older lady that I can hardly believe Thanksgiving Day is almost here! I am thankful for all the years my Lord has blessed me with mortal life but I sure do look forward to my eternal life with Him forever more, where there will be no more sickness, pain, growing old or death! Glory Hallelujah...Dear Jesus, Please build my bright mansion in glory, quickly, as I am ready (I hope) to go Home! Amen! Ma Betty

What a breath of fresh air you are, Bro Daniel, as God's Holy Spirit is breathing His wonderful love through you! Stay strong in His faith, for He has more work for you to do in Jesus' precious name! They, who are faithful in the Lord, shall rise up as on Eagle's wings and renew their strength to keep on going in His joy for His joy is our strength to keep on serving our Lord and loving one another! Amen! Ma Betty

(KJV)

ISAIAH 41..verse 31...But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

RIOMANS 15..verse 13....Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost!

HEBREWS 11...verses 1 & 6...Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

PSALM 40..verses 1 -5....I waited patiently for the LORD; and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD. Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn to lies. Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to usward: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered!

PSALM 86..verses 5-7.... For thou LORD, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee. Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications. In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me. Verse 12.. I will praise thee, O Lord,my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.

PSALM 118..verses 14-19..The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation. The voice of rejoicing and salvation, is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly. The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

PSALM 136..1 O GIVE thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever! Amen!
