Hello from Calgary

n/t

I've been having a blast, too - I love the history, although I don't object to a bit of modern treasure:happy:
I joined our local metal detecting club, which meets once a month and tries to get together for a couple of club digs during the summer months. It was on one of these hunts that I found my buckle - right next to a club member who found a 1953 silver dime.
I've been digging up my yard, too Martha - but I'm in a modern subdivision - so am only finding pennies from the 1970's. But it is all still a lot of fun.

Thanks Ma Betty for the welcome. Have been in this hobby for 28 yrs. and it always amasses me what I find. Haveint found a gold coin yet.
But I sill hope to.Here where I live the history is one from 1861 and maybe a little older. I live in SE KS allen co. LaHarpe. I used your sp xlt
and like the depht it got. Now I use a Teknetics T2 and a fun detector it is at that. Haveint learned how to post pic. yet but hope to soon.
