and actually hope and pray we get some, as the terrible heat has sapped the water out of the ground, believe it or not, after all the rain we've had since January! I hope and pray that it doesn't storm or have tornadoes, as we've had enough of that to last a life time...providing Ma lives to be a 100, which I hope not! May God Bless and keep everyone safe from the terrible storms and tornadoes! Amen! Ma Betty

Ma...despite the aches and pains, I hope you live until Jesus comes again! We'll climb the stairs to heaven together Ma.

Hey Ma, who would have thought we could possible be so dry this quickly after the floods. Very peculiar times indeed. I am watering flowers and garden twice daily now and nothing is thriving :( The only things growing around here is Loren..lol. In one month she has gone up two whole shoe sizes ;)

bad weather tonight??? Some rain tomorrow and Sun and Mon should be good. I hope to find some gold in the water!

We desperately need rain here too.

Lisa

Yes, Martin, I hope we climb the golden stairs of heaven together with Jesus whether we die or we are still living when Jesus comes to get God's faithful saints for whether we live or whether we die in Christ, we will meet Jesus in the air and enter in God's glorious city! Amen! Will we enter two by two like the animals that entered Noah's Ark or go in as an awesome white, robed crowd to receive our golden crowns??? May God Bless us both and all those who are sick with better health and healing in Jesus' precious name! Amen! Ma Betty

Hi Liz, Yes, the little ones don't stay little very long and there is an old saying that a child was told that they had grown two more feet and they looked at their legs and wondered where they were! The question and the smile of a child!! Yes, it is difficult to believe that it has become so dry so quickly but if we don't like the weather (IT WILL CHANGE) and it has, for right now it is raining along with lots of thunder and some lightning! God is soooooo good and blesses us so much in many different ways! My neighbor Glenn watered his yard, yesterday, and then again after mowing mine and his lawn, today! I told him when I handed him his check that thanks for having the water going because he would bring rain for me, as I couldn't afford big water bills! He said, it sure will get dry and brown before the summer's over without watering the grass and I said, I haven't watered the last two years and the lawn is green...might be the weeds as they survive any kind of weather! He just laughed and we have rain whether he believed me or not....because there is old saying, Wash the car and it will rain....well I used to water my lawn (front and back) really well and it most usually rained afterwards and sometimes it was a gully washer! God is also humorus! I can see Him smiling right now! May God Bless all of us with the rain we need but with (NO) straight wind storms or tornadoes! Amen! Ma Betty

Hi Mike, we are getting rain in South County right now and please read my post to Liz, so I don't have to repeat myself! May God Bless you when water hunting by finding the gold.............SO GO FOR THE GOLD! :jump: Amen! Ma Betty

Hi Lisa! We are getting rain right now along with thunder and lightning but no bad storms or tornadoes so far and I pray that none of us receive them but do receive rain where it is needed! God is good and I pray He blesses with the right amount of rain that is needed for you and Liz! May the grass and the gardens of the South survive! Amen! Ma Betty

Hey Ma how ya been doing? Really have missed being on here. Just got too busy. Too many irons in the fire. Heard you had a tornado come close to you. Hit Lambert I guess. Hoping to get over to St. Louie next month when we come to Illinois to visit family.

Hi Dk...well I am about the same...have my good days and my bad ones but I am still walking and breathing....SO I AM STILL LIVING! Sorry to hear that you've been so busy but I guess that means money to pay the bills and very blessed to have a job in these stressful times! Yes, a tornado hit out in North County and destroyed houses and part of Lambert but they are rebuilding...Thank God no one was killed and they did escape the breakage of plate glass windows at the airport by going down where there weren't any! Never know with the way Joplin got hit by the worst tornado in 50, 60 years or maybe even longer when it might hit closer to home! Looks like a bomb hit it....when viewing the damages done to London during World War II....can't tell the difference between bombs dropped and a tornado hitting the cities! But we escaped the torndo here in South County and just had strong winds and lots of rain! It rained Thursday night and some yesterday and according to the weather report, we may have occassional showers through to Wed. We do need the rain now after all the HOT, HOT days of mid to upper 90's which took all that water out of the ground and dried up things already and it isn't even July and August, as yet, which are usually our hottest months! May God Bless and hope you can post more often, as we miss hearing from those who are absent too long! May God Bless you and Joan really good and give you time off, for good behavior, to be with us! ;) Amen! Ma Betty
