I was out of electric from 2:50 PM to 11:00 PM Sat nite! Was posting on the forum when Bang....a big lightning strike caused the Computer and TV to go out and then 7:30 am Sunday morning, Cliff and I started down to Salem, MO and on to the cemetery by our mom and dad's farm for the 4th Sunday Decoration and a reunion on my cousin Virtginia's dad's side of family!

After visiting with them for awhile, we went back to Salem and after a trip to Zonic's for food, we looked at the outside areas of 4 Salem homes! We didn't see the inside of any and only two we liked from the outside! We proceeded from there to the Gas Station to feed the car! One newer home we never found, so we went to Rolla, MO and on to our sister's house! We stayed the night there and Carolyn went with us to Cuba to look at houses Monday! The lady Realtor I had been using since 2005, was in the office and went with us to see the outside and inside of 3 homes. The last one, my bro, sister and I really liked, although it is in the ciy.....it is in a very nice newer subdivision called: Shepherd's Hill with a large, private fenced yard and two-car-garage! It is professionally painted and I made an offer to buy with a contingency to sell mine! So I am still waiting to hear whether they have accepted my terms! I just know if it is for me....God will make it easy for me to have....but if not, then He will block me from having it!

So, will let you know later if anything happens and if so, I will be off line for an unknown period of time to start moving furniture back where it belongs and finish doing what needs to be done! Only have until Aug 28 to sell my home and then if I do, I will have to get everything sold that I don't wnat to move and the rest ready to move!

Pray that we get this home finished and that either we sell it to Real Estate businesses....have 3 to call and see what they will offer....or to people who want it and are able to pay and get a loan! Thank you!


Up in the air on all of this right now...............................So more news later....Alligator!

Thanks everyone! No harm was done to my Computer or TV.....have surge protector for Computer and Printer!

Here is what is going on and I thank you for your prayers concerning the buying of the house in Cuba, MO. My realtor called me today and she said they have accepted my offer and the terms! So, unless another offer comes in, Cliff and I will be moving before winter out of the St. Louis County area. I have to send a check for my Security Deposit which will be kept in Escrow until closing which is Aug 28 unless changed! I do have to show I have the money to pay for the balance of the offering price (getting a small loan unless I get a good price for mine) if another offer does come in! I had a real estate lady here today that I thought was buying houses as they are and reselling them but she only sells houses that she lists for sale! Another man is coming tomorrow who does buy homes for reselling them, so I will find out what he will pay me if he buys it! The lady who was here said she would list it for $187,000.00!
She liked it and said it is so clean and nicely kept for as many years as I've been here (since May 1974)! Not as clean as it could be and still have some things to do to get it ready to list if I do!

The only thing I have another real estate agent and I would contact him again first before putting it up for sale with an agency! She was a very nice lady though! Would list with her if I didn't already have one!

Cliff and I started cleaning my Family Room and rearranging furniture, and the paint and etc that we had on the coffee table in the entry foyer to find more easily while painting and so forth! We got it all arranged before she came and I didn't have to move the Computer and Printer out of my Armoir after all, Cliff with a little help from me moved the Armoir with large slides under the feet or legs (whatever you want to call them)

So, here I am on the net and reading and answering posts on the forum! Guess you will have to put up with me and my long posts a little longer...but don't know how long! Have lots and lots to do and sure can't get all my STUFF in a smaller house without a basement! I have a larger home with a full basement....but all those steps are getting to us both and we have trouble getting our breath when coming up! :sad:

Will let you know more when I know more! Pray everything goes easy for us to sell house, some furniture and lots of junk I have collected over the years! Thank you for your prayers!
