Help! Can anyone tell me if the DFX beach setting is a good setting

Hi,
I was wondering if the beach setting for the DFX was a good setting or if anyone knew of a setting I could use for it. Thanks so much, Ken

Thanks, General Ray! I'll let you know if I find anything good.

Try making a custom setting like this:

Mode = Best Data
Mixed Mode = ON
VCO = ON
Tone ID = ON
Preamp=3
AC Sensitivity=75
REJECT = -90 to 0
ACCEPT = 1 to +95

Takes a little while to get used to Mixed Mode,
but this lets you hear everything while still
getting unique solid tones for discrimination.

Trouble is in wet salty sand discrimination does't
work well so you want ability to hear everything,
then decide if you want to dig broken tones.
