Help!!! Can't get green headphones to pair with impact?

Ok so I have done everything I can. My new Impact has the most recent version, I actually downloaded it again to be sure. I have tried and tried to pair a brand new pair of green headphones and they just won't pair! Iv tried the instructions so many times even tried the trigger forward down button to select frequency and still won't pair, Anyone else have this problem? Iv tried walking outside to be sure there's no interference. Etc. Someone help! I'm very OCD and until I get this it will give me nuts! Could headphones be defective?

You are doing the trigger forward ,,,, Its back to you ... was that your issue

Wasn't holding white button long enough on headphones. Anyway seems the impact is too much detector for my taste. Going to stick with Simplex.
