Help How Do I Remove 705 Control Housing ?

Well my upper shaft where the control attaches some how got bent, not the hand hold, the daft itself.

Yikes !! so I will order a new part or maybe go strait shaft regardless I still need advice on disassembling .

I am very capable I have been an electrician 30 plus years and if there's one thing I have learned its read the instruction, and or ask some one with prior experience.

Goes a very long way in preventing any further destruction.

The housing control box has a stem that slides down into the grip. It is typically held in place with a small set screw. It is shipped without the housing mounted to the shaft. So if you take a look at page 6 of the instruction manual, you'll find instructions on how to assemble it. Just follow the diagrams in reverse to remove it. Hope this is what you're asking. Excellent advice Digger, problem is I bought this from a another brother in the game it came with allot of goodies but, did not come with the manual.

Although I will proceed to Minelab.com where I will download the pdf file.

I love this site ( I mean that in the most manly way possible )
